Offshore Water Jetting
Calder offshore specification MultiJet units are designed and certified to undertake high and ultra high pressure waterjetting applications in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous area locations around the world. Constructed to allow operation on drill rig, production platform or FPSO, the MultiJet can be safely used for superstructure and fabric maintenance including heli-decks, accommodation areas, walkways, pipes and supports, plus waterjet abrasive cold cutting of tanks, pipes and decks and other composite materials. It is a dust-free technique allowing other adjacent activities such as painting and lagging to continue, minimises the waste stream created, reduces clean-up time, is not weather dependent, and when used in surface preparation operations is proficient at exposing the original profile without further erosion and guarantees the highest level of cleanliness of all surface preparation methods. Ancillary vacuum equipment can be used in conjunction with water jetting technology to contain all washings and contaminants and, once filtered, washings can be reused and contaminants disposed of as appropriate.
As well as our MultiJet high pressure pump units, Calder manufacture hazardous area vacuum units and hot water HP washdown packages, providing customers with cost effective, compliant and environmentally sound solutions to Zone 1, Zone 2 and rig-safe cleaning tasks.
Applications:
- Hazardous area coating removal and surface preparation
- Marine growth removal
- Hot water washdown packages
- Vacuumation of waste produced during waterjetting operations
- Abrasive waterjet cold cutting
