Environmental Enclosures for Pump Skids
A good quality environmental enclosure offers your operators and equipment significant levels of protection and increases equipment longevity. Our enclosures are generally manufactured in 316 stainless steel, and have removable panels and lockable single and/or double doors for easy maintenance access.
Built to accompany our pump packages, all enclosures are of a bespoke design as every project and operating location have differing requirements. Skid-mounted enclosures make up the majority of our supply history, but we have supplied enclosures that mount directly to the floor or deck.
Options for our Environmental Enclosures
Blast Protection
Enclosures can be designed to account for explosion/blast loads to ensure the integrity of the system under extreme conditions. The specifications are generally dictated by the project.
Fire Protection
As an early warning, smoke and fire detection sensors trigger audible and visual warnings. The incorporation of a water-mist fire suppression system mitigates the potential of a fire to spread beyond the confines of the enclosure.
Noise Attenuation
Integrated soundproofing materials keep noise levels within acceptable limits, improving the working environment for offshore personnel.
Engineered for Harsh Environments
Our enclosures protect sensitive components from salt spray and wind, helping to maintain optimal

Internal Climate Control
The internal equipment can be kept at a constant temperature through integral space heaters. For greater climate control, we fit HVAC units featuring air filtration and mist elimination properties.
Internal lighting is a popular option and can be configured for hazardous area compliance.
Internal Maintenance Crane
For maintenance activities that require the removal of heavy items such as the pump head, an internal crane is fitted. Mounted on X,Y axes, the crane can reach all relevant components. The mounting system extends outside the enclosure to allow components to be lowered safely to the deck.
