Offshore Fabric Maintenance – pumps, vacuums, compressors

Design. Build. Test. From our factory in Worcester, UK, we produce pump, vacuum, and compressor units. These units are specifically designed for operation in hazardous areas, ensuring safety and reliability in the most challenging conditions. Mounted in an offshore-certified container or crash frame, the units are used for fabric maintenance applications on offshore platforms and FPSOs.
Our standard range covers most applications. However, for ‘special’ applications and locations, our 40 years’ experience in the supply of bespoke designs ensures we provide exactly what you need. We stock selected larger components such as certified engines and pumps, so we are able to offer shorter lead times on some of the more commonly requested units.

Our fabric maintenance products are trusted by industry leaders such as Altrad, Stork, Bilfinger, Denholm McNamee and James Fisher Offshore.

Our Product Range

Our comprehensive range includes water jetting units up to 4,000 bar, vacuum systems to 800 mbar, and compressors rated at 10 bar. All units are available as either electric or diesel drive and we offer units compliant with ATEX Zone 1 and Zone 2, NORSOK, CSA, and IECEx. Our OffshoreLITE range, offers lightweight, compact, and modular units for locations with restricted deck space and access, and reduced crane capacities.

Many projects demand our packaged systems comply with detailed engineering standards, legislative requirements and metallurgy, piping, and electrical specifications. We deliver compliant and certified solutions with minimal deviations in a cost-effective way.

Water Jetting Units

Our water jetting units are engineered to deliver exceptional performance for a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks. These units are capable of producing high pressure water that effectively removes coatings, corrosion, and other contaminants from surfaces. Our units can generate pressures up to 4,000 bar making them suitable for the toughest jobs.

Through component selection and our design experience, we manufacture units that focus on safety and reliability. Of particular note is the Hammelmann pump. All MultiJet pump units feature a pump from the superb HDP range of reciprocating plunger pumps. The pump’s unique seal system design gives enhanced reliability and extends the service interval to reduce equipment downtime.

Three standard units:

MultiJet

– Electric or diesel, crash frame or container. Quite simply the workhorse of the hazardous area jetting industry for many years.

MultiEjet

– To support offshore platform electrification projects the MultEjet utilises an integrated VSD to control the pump speed and yet retains the same footprint as diesel units. Simply hook up the unit to the platform power supply and take advantage of low-emission water jetting with maximum reliability.

HotJet

– Ideal for high temperature, hot water washdown in hazardous areas on offshore drill rigs, platforms and other facilities where high pressure hot water is required to disperse and clean stubborn deposits. All equipment is mounted into an enclosed DNV 2.7-3 certified crash frame which incorporates secure storage for high pressure hose, gun, nozzles and power cable.

MultiVac

Our vacuum systems are designed to handle the most demanding offshore maintenance tasks. These high-suction-power systems provide powerful suction to remove debris, liquids, and other materials from confined spaces and difficult-to-reach areas.

Our customers tell us they use our MultiVac units for a multitude of applications:

  • Material/waste removal:
    • of coatings from surface preparation
    • from tanks, vessels, mud pits and silos
    • from hazardous drainage systems
    • of viscous, dense materials
    • from confined spaces.
  • Chemical, fuel, and liquid recovery from open/bunded areas.
  • Transfer of waste from open top skips to closed skips.
  • FPSO storage tanks waste removal.
  • High flow ventilation of hazardous atmospheres.
  • Hydrocarbon heavy waste removal while atmospheric venting.
  • Pigging support operations.
    • Prevention of uncontrolled release of hydrocarbon materials.
  • Descaling support.
    • control of water discharge.
  • Online/offline de-sanding operations.

MultiAir

Our compressors are essential for powering pneumatic tools and equipment used in offshore maintenance. These units deliver a reliable and consistent air supply for various auxiliary, emergency, and permanent applications with performance options up to 1,600 cfm @ 10 bar.

These robust, offshore-certified units can be lifted by fork-truck or crane and have a stackable option, making them ideal for multi-site operation and storage.

We have three standard units. Two are mounted in ISO 10855-1-compliant 20’ offshore containers. Our third stand unit is a small, compact unit specially designed for offshore decommissioning where the platform crane has a de-rated capacity.
