Engineering Design Team Vacancies

We are currently opening up positions for enthusiastic professionals with experience in various aspects of engineering design. For all roles, from design engineer through to engineering project manager, the ideal candidates should have knowledge of reciprocating pumps, centrifugal pumps, rotating machinery, ASME, ANSI, ISO, PED, ATEX and the Machinery Directive. Each role will require further skills such as SolidEdge 3D, FEA (Finite Element Analysis), knowledge of blast loads, or geometrical tolerancing.

As a key player in our company, which boasts a close-knit team of around 50 employees, Calder offers a unique opportunity for engineering design team members. One advantage of working with us is that everything happens under one roof. From the initial design phase through manufacturing, testing, and final despatch, our team members are involved in every step of the project lifecycle.

This is an exciting time for us. In addition to supplying our traditional markets we are also hugely committed to the energy transition. Our vast knowledge and experience has transferred well into the emerging technologies. We have, for many years, supplied high pressure injection units for subsea storage. An exciting recent project delivery was a unit for thermal testing and pumping for geothermal energy recovery. Most recently, in December we received a significant order for a methanol fuel injection system for ship propulsion.
