We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. You will work at our Worcester factory in a small team and follow projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities
- To generate project plans, manage, and drive implementation using Calder resources.
- To ensure timely delivery of plans.
- To ensure profitability margins are achieved.
- Report to customer on project progress.
- To ensure compliance with all customer and relevant national and international specifications and standards.
- To ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements concerning the design.
- To internally report to management team on project with respect to progress and cost.
- Management of multi-disciplined project team to ensure compliance to project deliverables.
- Client liaison and technical supplier liaison which often comprises face to face contact outside the UK.
- SDRL Management.
- Production of documentation: quality management, procedures, documentation pack.
- Technical specification calculations.
- BOM management in conjunction with Procurement Manager.
- Ensure all activities, including testing, are undertaken safely and to the requirements of the specific job.
Requirements
- Proven experience of running large capital engineering projects.
- Experience of managing highly qualified engineering teams.
- Qualified Mechanical Engineer.
- Experience of process industry and hazardous area working is desirable.
- Project Engineering responsibility for projects valued between £30,000 and £5m.
- Experience of diesel engines and / or motor driven equipment in power ranges from 30 kW to 2000 kW is desirable.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and electro mechanical control systems.
- Experience of offshore or similar demanding documentation regimes.
- Experience of working on manufacturing projects which incorporate heavy equipment.
- Confident with IT packages including project planning tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with suppliers and customers.
- Technical knowledge of pumping systems and/or “package-build” equipment using motors and diesel engines.
- A working knowledge of 3D CAD (Solid Edge or Solid Works).
- Working knowledge of Quality Systems including documentation.
- Experience of certification and associated documentation would be useful, but not essential.
- Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry preferred.
- Full driving licence required.
- Willingness to travel UK wide and internationally.
