Drill Cuttings Reinjection Pump Packages

Drill cuttings reinjection has, over the last twenty years, become recognized as an environmentally responsible and cost-effective disposal method for offshore waste. For over 20 years, we have been at the forefront of offshore cuttings re-injection pump package development.

Our CRI and Waste Injection Pump Units

Our high pressure cuttings reinjection pump skids are in use in hazardous areas around the world. They are used in both onshore and offshore locations for continuous cuttings injection over a wide range of flows and pressures. In addition to cuttings re-injection, we also manufacture waste injection packages. These units are suitable for a range of high pressure, well service pumping applications such as injecting seawater, slurries, drilling muds and sand into subsea strata.

Options and Configurations

We design and configure the CRI and waste injection pump skids to suit your application. Units that include an electric motor with variable speed drive (VSD) control are capable of providing a variable flowrate from 0% to 100% at the required duty pressure. Alternatively, we build diesel-driven systems with six-speed transmission. Additional configurations such as diesel/electro hydraulic drives are available. We offer a range of environmental enclosures which provide noise attenuation and weather protection. You will see from the picture gallery on this page a small sample of the variety of drill cuttings injection pump packages that we have designed and manufactured. Our Offshore Cuttings Injection Skid Design Experience

Whatever your offshore drill cuttings re-injection requirements, our wealth of experience and ongoing design and development processes will ensure you receive a well service pump package designed for the job. Indeed, the pump skid will possess the inherent reliability that has become synonymous with Calder. Discover more about our design capabilities and our extensive hazardous area experience. Finally, through our experience, we also understand the importance to offshore operators of the need to document our equipment to the standards required by the offshore energy sector. • Skid. This is the lightest option. Skid units have fork-truck slots and we supply a lifting frame where required.
  • Crash frame. This option is lightweight and affords considerable protection during transportation. Can include both fork-list slots, and lifting eyes.
  • Container. This provides maximum protection from transportation operations and environmental conditions. Comes with a choice of noise attenuation options. Can include both fork-list slots, and lifting eyes.
  • Skid and separate environmental enclosure. This is a popular option for many of our customers. It consists of a lightweight skid with the option of a floor- or skid-mounted environmental enclosure with noise attenuation options.
  • Trailer. There are two trailer options. Firstly, operators use road-going trailer unit for multi-site operations. Secondly, we offer site trailer units allowing easy movements within one site.

  • Road-going, trailer-mounted cuttings re-injection unit. This was designed and built for a customer to use across various onshore locations.
  • Modular well service pump skids. These units were for operation in a remote locations where access by land was not feasible. Each module was to be lifted by helicopter to the operating location and the design ensured easy re-assembly on site.
  • Small-footprint cuttings reinjection units. These CRI units were designed for a platform with limited deck space and restricted access.
